Matthew 25: 35-40

"I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me." -Matthew 25:35-36

"Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." -Matthew 25:37-40

Another Day in the Village

We accomplished a lot in the village today! It's so exciting! Justin and a friend of Vera's built some shelves in the clinic, so we cleaned all day and organized the medicine! We had to switch some rooms around and it was a pretty big job, but we're almost finished. It LOOKS SO NICE!

We went out for Chinese tonight! I couldn't believe there was such a nice restaurant in Haiti! It was fun, but I came home with a headache; I am guessing it might be from the giardia medication I'm taking.

Gracie had a terrible fever today. She hasn't been feeling good for the past two days. Her cry is different, a real sadness... not just her normal, "I want to be held by .... Lacey!" cry. ha ha Thank God her fever broke! Oh! and both my babies are getting over their diarrhea, I'm so thrilled!

  3. Lacey,

I only know you though your aunt (Kim Grinna), but can tell you that I'm am inspired and humbled by your obedience to God's calling in your life. I dream of doing something like you are some day. God has plans to each of us in many ways, and right now, my calling is teaching youth...but I long to experience the stories of so many that I've only read about in places like your blog. May God bless your work for Him and the lives of those precious children!
